If you are appointing others to serve as your committee, you must select at least two members. You may appoint up to five members. One member should be designated as the chairperson of the committee. A second member should be designated as the treasurer.

    Committee Dissolution Designee

    Candidates who choose to be the sole member of their principal campaign committee must choose a designee to dissolve the committee due to the possibility of death or incapacitation of the candidate.

      ** STATEMENT OF ECONOMIC INTERESTS **

      Every candidate must file a STATEMENT OF ECONOMIC INTERESTS form with the State Ethics Commission no more than five days after the date such candidate files his or her qualifying papers with the appropriate election official. [§36-25-15] This form covers the previous calendar year. A candidate who has a current STATEMENT OF ECONOMIC INTERESTS on file with the Ethics Commission does not have to file a duplicate form.
